Time to dust off those clubs…our golf season is nearly
here!!! We’re launching our season this year with a most
exciting Spring Luncheon you absolutely won’t want to miss.
Mark your calendar now for Saturday, May 17th and start
thinking about what you will wear for this year’s theme -- “It’s
a Jungle Out There.” How many times have we felt that
way?!!!! Put those creative juices to work as prizes are
involved.
Come and listen to our organizers who have been busy at
work planning a really great season for us and of course the
pros will be updating you on their relative golf courses.
Maybe you’ll win one of the prizes they bring!! It’s truly a
great time of reuniting…so bring a friend and have some
fun!!

We are all so lucky. Each one of us has the opportunity to be a part of such a great
organization, AWGA (Anchorage Women’s Golf Association). This is the most dynamic,
energetic, creative and friendly group of women you’ll ever want to meet. The level of
participation is whatever makes you comfortable, whether it’s to play during the week
with us, for one or more days at each of the different courses, or enter one of our
renowned tournaments or do some committee work and meet new friends. There truly is
something going on each day…well, we do take weekends off, LOL!!
Looking to volunteer and have fun at the same time? We’ve got a spot for you. If you
haven’t ever done anything so daring, we have a mentor for you to show you the ropes.
We’ll have sign up sheets at the Spring Luncheon and of course you can always talk to
one of our board members about any of your questions or ideas. They’ll give you the
straight skinny, so to speak.
In closing, come join us for a great season…take baby steps and start with a day…see
where it takes you ... after that the limits are only yours!!!!
